A little less worry, wherever you keep your life.

It’s the things
you forgot about.

We checked the founder’s own laptop and files. Here is what was sitting in plain sight.

No guesswork. Your check comes with a report from your own device.

Leaving it there has a cost.

A saved password, an ID copy or recovery words are still exposed until you deal with them. On the founder’s own machine, ID numbers were sitting in 13 files — three different people’s, eight of them forgotten invoice PDFs.

For crypto holders: Binance says it set aside about $6.3 billion of its own money to cover its users. You don’t have that.

On 29 Oct 2026, about $6.3 billion was stolen. The FBI attributes the attack to North Korea. Binance says it will cover its users.

A remote-access app.
Left running for 23 days.

The founder installed AnyDesk himself on 9 Oct and used it three times that morning. Then he forgot it. It kept starting on its own and listening on port 7070 until he removed it on 1 Nov.

The logs did not show an incoming session. Finding the app alone does not prove someone got in.

ID numbers. In 13 files.

Not all of them his. 8 were old invoice PDFs he had forgotten about. Our scanner read one folder, in quick mode, not his whole machine or its history.

These are the founder’s real finds. They are not results from your device.

You don’t need to be
good at this.

You just need a place to start. We’ll make the next step clear.

First, get an answer.

The free check shows which habits and warning signs need a closer look.

Then, remove the exposure.

We find private details, put them in one locked file, and remove the copies you own.

Leave with a plan.

Receipts show what changed. Fraud-alert set-up and a yearly re-check help you keep track.

Scope and price agreed before we start.

Nothing found on your device = you pay nothing (full refund if you paid first).

“Found” means we show you on your own screen at least one of: a remote-access tool you do not recognise or did not approve; a password, ID number, card or bank number, API key or seed phrase saved in plain text in a file, note, chat or repo; a browser extension that can read every site and that you did not know about or do not use; an admin account you do not recognise. A breach result for your email does not count: we show you that free. If we are not sure, it does not count. We agree on the price and scope before the work starts. Final terms to follow.

Honest help.
Honest limits.

You should know what a clean-up can and cannot do.

Only places you own.

We delete only from places you own. Nobody can delete your data from breach sites or the dark web.

A leaked password gets changed.

Deleting a saved copy is not enough. A leaked password gets changed, not just deleted.

An ID number needs guards.

An ID number cannot be changed, so we set up guards to help spot misuse.

A check has a scope.

We show what we checked and what we could not check. A clean report is not a promise that nothing can ever happen.

A few fair questions.

Can this free check tell me for sure if I was hacked?

No. Your answers show things worth checking. They do not scan your laptop or prove someone got in. The Laptop Check looks at your own device and gives you evidence.

I got a “we recorded you” message. What now?

The message alone is not proof that someone recorded you. Don’t pay and don’t reply. Keep the message as evidence. If it shows a password you still use, change it, and change it everywhere you reused it. If the person being threatened is under 18, or the message involves pictures of a child, stop there and report it to the police (SAPS, 10111) and the Film and Publication Board. Do not open, forward or save those pictures, and we never will either.

Will you see my passwords or seed phrase?

Never send them to us, and we never need to see them. On the screen share, and in a clean-up's remote session, you choose what is shown and can take back the mouse or end the session at any time. If a password or recovery words come up, we stop, you close or cover it, and we go on. We agree on the places to check first. Your locked file stays with you.

What if you find nothing?

You pay nothing, and you get a full refund if you paid first. One of the four things in our guarantee has to turn up on the device we checked. A breach result for your email does not count: we show you that free. If we are not sure about something, it does not count.

Does this work for my office or app?

That is what Office Safe (small offices and schools) and App Safe (small app owners and startups) are for. Neither is open for bookings yet. When they open, we agree in writing whose devices and accounts you have permission to check before anything starts.
