What we never do

Your device.
Your say.

Getting help should never mean losing control.

We show you what we find. We explain the next step. You decide what happens on your device.

You open the door. You can close it.
Permission comes before access. You control what we see.Illustration

We never ask you to send secrets.

No passwords, OTPs or seed phrases in a message, ever. The 10 questions need only Yes or No. The one optional box where you may type a password is the leak check, and that password never leaves your browser: only the first 5 characters of a scrambled version go to Have I Been Pwned, never to us. You don’t have to use it, because your password manager can do the same check. Never type recovery words or an ID number anywhere on this site. Your locked file and its unlock details stay with you.

We never change things in a look-only check.

The first 45 minutes are for looking. No deleting or moving files. We agree on clean-up work with you before it begins.

We never look without permission.

We only check devices and accounts you own or have permission to check. You watch on the screen share and can stop the work.

We never leave a door open.

In a clean-up we use a remote-control session that you start, watch and can end at any time. We never phone you first, and we never connect on our own. When the session ends, we show you the tool is closed and help you remove it, so it does not stay on your device.

We never promise to erase the internet.

We delete only from places you own. Nobody can delete your data from breach sites or the dark web. A leaked password gets changed. An ID number gets guards.

We never use a scare to sell a check.

A threatening message is not proof of a hack. A breach-site match is not proof of an exposed device. We show you what the evidence actually says.

We never hide a free result.

No email needed to see your self-check result. The optional email lookup is for your own address only. No pre-ticked consent. No paid extras slipped in.

A plain privacy note.

This prototype keeps your yes/no answers, whether your email check found anything (yes or no), and your motion preference in this browser using localStorage. Your email and booking details are not saved. Booking details are only held on the page until you leave. No real booking, payment, device scan or clean-up happens on this preview. Your answers stay in this browser until you clear them, and they cover private things, so clear them below if you are on a shared or family computer.

If you choose the optional email check, your address goes to our server for one request, is passed on to Have I Been Pwned and is then dropped: we do not store or log it. If you choose the optional password-leak check, your browser sends 5 characters of a scrambled version of the password to Have I Been Pwned (api.pwnedpasswords.com), not to us. Like any website, they see your internet address. Nothing about either check is saved on this site except, for the email check, a yes-or-no note in this browser, plus the list of breaches you were shown, which stays only until you close this tab. Neither holds your email address. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. No analytics or tracking scripts are included.

A live service will need a full privacy notice before it collects personal information. This note describes this demo only.
